linden wayne yates was born on the 17th july 1994,he grew up in batley and attended park road school and then went on to batley boys high school. He finished school and got involved in various kinds of work and became a machanic and glazier but then went on to work as an elecrician and worked for many years with a very close friend of his. All who knew linden knew he was a very keen sportsman especially loving his football as he played for many local teams including the belle view and shooters.He was very much involved with the teams,he organised fixtures as well as arranging after match celebrations and raising money for team funds including other local charities.Linden did a bungee jump in 2006 to raise money,he helped the belle view hotel raise £900 which was split between the belle view football team and the childrens ward at dewsbury district hospital. As well as doing all he did for the local teams and community Linden also brought much happiness tp peoples lives,he always had his cheeky smile to brighten up anyones day,he was a real charmer with the girls and the ones that weren't lucky enough to share a moment with him wanted to.Those eyes that smile and the charm that went with it,its no supprise he had the girls falling at his feet,women loved linden,he knew it and he loved it. One of the things linden loved to do was go out with the boys and have a good time,getting drunk in his locals then heading to batley to the exclusive nightclub to drink dance and chat up almost every girl in there and most of the time succeeded.He also enjoyed the karaoke and always had a sing he sang various songs but as is and always will be remembered for singing his favourite song,mack the knife.
